Nob Hill Development Corp (NHDC) was created to facilitate the redevelopment of nearly six city blocks owned by related entities in the eastern portion of Albuquerque’s Nob Hill District.  Activities include real estate development and leasing of approximately 560,000 square feet of property on Central Avenue (Historic Route 66) between Carlisle and Jefferson.  In addition to 250,000 square feet of undeveloped land, NHDC controls 123,400 square feet of historic motels that could be renovated or converted into alternative uses, several restaurants, a charter high school, a national bank, an art gallery with studios and picture frame shop and available office and retail suites.
